SpringFeatureRecently as I was teaching one of my pieces, “Spring”, I felt like it would be so lovely with a smooth duet to accompany the student. If you don’t know it by now, I LOVE duets – for the sounds they create beyond solo capabilities (especially at beginner levels) and for the fun ensemble experiences students have making music together! Anyways, I decided to write a duet part for this cute beginner piece. My student loved it when we put it together the next week so today I wanted to share it with you!

This duet part is actually really simple, moving down through several 5 finger positions (G Major, F Major, E minor,…) so it could be played by a teacher or another student. I haven’t added fingering so students & teachers may choose to move both hands or keep the RH in one position while moving the LH.

Hope you enjoy adding it to your collection of music!
