He is ever faithful to each of us. He is our best friend who leads us to eternally happy endings regardless of hard circumstances right now in life.
Written for a soprano or alto soloist to be able to comfortably sing. It begins in F Major, but quickly shifts to D Major where it stays through the ending. Plenty of short rests give easy breathing spots for the singer and a few minor changes to the rhythm and melody line will be seen. Dynamics are marked for the pianist to lead to a big swell on the 3rd verse but hopefully soloists and accompanists will work together to add more small cresc/decresc. moments throughout.
